Supports a wide variaty of input and output formats including AAC, AIFF, Apple Lossless, CAF, FLAC, OGG Vorbis, WAV, and more!
Supports reading and writing metadata, including album artwork. Edit and enter in your own metadata with a convienent editor. Even create custom output paths and file names based on metadata.
Pro Audio Converter provides you with a full range of encoding options for every available codec.
Export supported encoded files directly to your iTunes library. Even create custom iTunes playlists based on the track's metadata!
Pro Audio Converter can also edit the metadata of existing audio files without re-encoding, functioning as a basic tag editor!
By default, files are placed in your Music folder. You can also select your own output directory in the preferences.
Pro Audio Converter is not designed to be used to rip CDs. Although, it is technically possible. CD ripping can be achieved by setting the Maximum Number of Encoders to 1 in the preferences and dragging the CD from the Finder to Pro Audio Converter. Setup your desired output formats and rip away! Make sure your output directory is not set to Same As Source. Full official support for CD ripping is planned for a future release.
